I started working with HTML, CSS, and PHP in 2008 during the summer of my sophomore year. I taught my webmastering class the following two years, made a website, and never did anything with it. Shortly after, I joined the army, went to South Korea, and realized that computer languages aren't the only type that I'm good at learning.
Researched the target audience and created designs for both the marketing website and the app.
Built the entire backend database, authentication access points, and API documentation.
I love pizza. Chocolate and peanut butter are the best combo ever created. Yoshi is the best Mario Kart character and baby bowser is kind of adorable. Random fact i’ve played basketball for 17 years of my life. Trust me I have better info coming soon. I’m a vegetarian. I fell in love with web development quite unexpectedly. Disillusioned with the world of education, by recommendation of a family member, I took an online class in making websites. What I didn't expect was to enjoy and be good at building websites. Intellectually, coding combines the problem solving and cool head of rock climbing with the precision of quilting.

I am a Minnesota native and Marine Corps Veteran. I graduated from Chanhassen High School in 2011, and joined the Marines immediatley after graduation. I served for 5 years as a Field Radio Operator, attaining the rank of Sergeant in 2015... deciding to attend Lambda School in 2019, in order to study Fullstack Web Develpoment.
